Between-Visit Communication

Brief between-visit communication is included at no additional charge for established patients. This includes:

  • Brief clarification questions
  • Simple follow-up questions related to your existing treatment plan
  • Clarification about recommendations that have already been discussed

A scheduled visit is appropriate when a new clinical concern arises, there is a significant change in symptoms, treatment requires substantial adjustment, or extensive symptom review, medical-record review, or laboratory interpretation is needed.

Messaging is not intended for urgent or emergency medical concerns and is not monitored continuously. For urgent or emergency concerns, please seek the appropriate level of care.

My goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care while making it easy for you to stay connected between visits when questions arise.

I have a partnering prescribing physician for patients who need prescriptions and lack a primary care doctor. She works independently and this partnering is facilitated upon completion of our visit.

Notes:

  • Insurance may cover some laboratory testing.
  • No Medicare,Medicaid or supplemental insurance coverage.
  • I do not offer school physicals or pre-op exams.
  • I do not provide emergency or after-hours calls, nor do I function as a PCP.

An Integrative Approach

All of my patients will learn what is happening with their bodies and what to do about it. I will advise on alternatives to prescription drugs or prescriptions for health concerns. I will counsel on dietary practices and clinic nutrition. I will do a physical exam when appropriate, and blood testing or other specialty lab testing as is necessary. I offer in house well women exams (PAP/pelvic/breast), and can refer for imaging and other necessary testing outside of the clinic. With my professional network of providers in the area, I help patients get the best care they can to achieve optimal wellness.

The State of Colorado requires that prescriptions are written by medical or osteopathic doctors. Therefore, I work with MD/DO prescribers to ensure that my patients who want prescriptions can access them at a reduced rate. These prescribers have independent practices and work with me directly to ensure complete integrative care. They are skilled integrative health providers, and patients benefit from the integrated teamwork we provide.
